Milan Sladek (German)

 

  • Several international tours staged in more than 50 countries

  • Sladek became one of the best-known mime performers, gaining great popularity in his new home town Cologne.

  • 1974 - Milan Sladek opened the THEATER KEFKA in Cologne which became one of the most vibrant centres of the international mime scene.

  • 1976 the First International Festival of Mime Art – „GAUKLER was staged by THEATER KEFKA together with the City of Cologne.

  • From 1987 to 1992 Milan Sladek was Professor of Mime Arts at Folkwang-Hochschule in Essen.

  • From 1992 to 2002 he was director of THEATER ARENA, the International Institute of Mime Art in Bratislava

  • In 2002 Milan Sladek returned to Germany. Cologne once more became the base for his artistic works.

     

     

 
Kita Kyoichi (Japanese)

 

  • Studied with Etienne Decroux  in France.

  • Invitation to participate in overseas dance and mime festivals.  Active  at home and abroad.

  • In 2015, the Kita Kyoichi PANTOMIME Project(KKPP) starts. He participated in the first "1, Beijing pantomime collection 1" in June (APOC theatre)

  • Art director with choreographer "Malaika" at the school of dance "TANZELL" in Frankfurt , Germany

  • A lecturer and performer at International Dance Festival in Bonn, Germany. (UNESCO co-sponsorship).

  • Set up YOKOHAMA Physical Theater

 
 
Paitoon Laisakul (Thai)

 

  • Studied mime in 1980 with Milan Sladek, Slovakian mime actor, director.

  • The founder of Konnakhao Mime, established in 1984.

  •  Goethe Institut scholarship  to visit a mime festival in Germany.

  • In 2004, he gave classes and workshops to young adults, and directed student performances.

  • Some of his students became nationally recognized, such as Baby Mime, Mute, Yano Mime.

  • Founder of the project: Mime for Deaf Children

 
Yano Mime  (Japanese)

Yano has been a enthusiastic mime artist for 20 years. He was invited to perform in Japan. He delivered mime performances solo , duo and group. Yano also acted in many famous Thai movies eg. Season Change, King Naresuan etc.

 
Hao Mime
  • Hao started his career in performing art from Asiatopia project that he performed with international artists both Europeans and Asians.

  • studied mime by himself since 1990.

  • performed in “Pantomime in Bangkok”

  • the Author of the book “Pantomime” writing stories about art of mime.

  • was invited to Ansan art street show in Korea.

  • Occationally givepantomime workshop for those who interested in art of mime.

Abel Talbi (French)

Abel is a French crown artis base in Paris who has been working on theater performances for several years.
